Uod – Ebe Dancel

Uod is Maki Liwanag's allegorical piece that puts the spotlight on different aspects of infestations in the society–from the literal state of the marginalized, to the metaphorical corruption of all.Uod focuses on the system that neglects the poor, and marginalizes the derelict; the same system that approves of the privileged thriving off of the struggle of the disadvantaged. Often generalized to be ill-mannered and bad decision-makers, the poor masses are always quickly blamed for criminality and the like, but not the system and those who run it. Who then is accountable for these infestations in the society? For more of our works, visit our website! www.lapis.ph
